Service has been a part of Emily's life since she began volunteering for her parish's annual summer festival after fourth grade. She has received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award twice at the Silver Level. In 2013, Emily Webb was chosen to represent Mount Notre Dame High School at the Southwest Ohio Hugh O' Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. She has since returned every year on the volunteer staff.
- 2014: Emily returned to the SWOH HOBY Seminar as the Junior Facilitator of group "Sneetches."
- 2015: Emily returned to the SWOH HOBY Seminar as the Junior Facilitator of the "American Heart Association (AHA)" group. She guided her ambassador in helping AHA (the national nonprofit) create an advertising plan for a walk hosted in Dayton that Fall.
- 2016: Emily returned to the SWOH HOBY Seminar as the Assistant to Director of Operations. Throughout the 5 days at the seminar, Emily ran, monitored, and tracked all of the seminar site's social media accounts. She also controlled conference room lighting, microphones, and other operational needs.
- 2017: Emily, again, returned to the SWOH HOBY Seminar as the Assistant to Director of Operations. Amongst the tasks of the 2016 seminar, she undertook the beginning of transferring the seminar's website.
Besides returning from 2014-2017 as a volunteer, she has served on the seminar planning committee and the Alumni Board.
